What you'll receive

Each monthly newsletter includes:

Recent updates: A summary of new and updated content on the site. If we've added a new pattern, expanded a guide, or improved a tool, you'll hear about it here first.

Pattern spotlight: A deeper look at one interaction pattern or UX technique. These spotlights often include implementation notes that don't make it into the main documentation.

Tool tips: Practical suggestions for using The UX Shop tools more effectively, or workflows that combine multiple resources.

Occasional extras: When relevant, we share observations on accessibility updates, platform changes, or practices we've seen work well across projects.

What you won't receive

  • Promotional emails or sales pitches
  • More than one email per month (except rare corrections)
  • Emails selling your attention to advertisers
  • Content we wouldn't put on the site itself

Newsletter archive

While we don't maintain a public archive of past newsletters, all significant content eventually makes its way onto the site. The newsletter is primarily a notification service—the real content lives in our guides, patterns, and tools.

If you missed something specific that was mentioned in a newsletter, feel free to email us and we'll point you to the right resource.

Frequency and timing

Newsletters go out on the first Tuesday of each month. If we don't have meaningful updates, we might skip a month rather than send filler content. In practice, this happens rarely—there's usually something worth sharing.

We send all emails from newsletter@theuxshop.com. Adding this address to your contacts helps ensure delivery.

How do I unsubscribe?

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're removed immediately. No surveys, no guilt trips, no 'we're sorry to see you go' emails.

Can I subscribe to specific topics only?

Currently we offer one newsletter that covers everything. Given our monthly frequency and focused scope, most subscribers find this manageable. We may add topic-specific options if the content volume increases.

Will you sell my email address?

No. We don't sell, rent, or share subscriber email addresses. Your email is used only to send you the newsletter you signed up for.

I didn't receive the confirmation email. What should I do?

Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, try subscribing again with the same email—our system will resend the confirmation. If problems persist, email hello@theuxshop.com and we'll help.

Can I read past newsletters somewhere?

We don't maintain a public archive, but substantive content from newsletters is incorporated into the main site. The newsletter itself is primarily a notification mechanism.
